Making your CMS logins more secure
In our next version release of our WebShed plugin your website will come with the option for users to set up 2FA when they login.
This will allow them to use an authenticator app as a second verification when logging in making it more secure, and that the correct person is logging in.
Key points:
- This will only ask them the first time they login after it has been added to the site
- If they select to set it up later they will not be asked again
- If they want to set it up later they will need to go to their profile page in the CMS to add it
You have some options available that we can configure:
- If you are the site owner and would like to make this mandatory for all users then please let us know
- We also have the option to make it mandatory for only certain user groups as well, for example making it compulsory for site administrators.
If you would like to discuss this more with us then please get in contact so that we can configure it how you want for your website users before it is applied.
